Homemade Pancakes

There is something so fun about having breakfast for supper, and something so housewife-ish about making it from scratch! We have these homemade pancakes once every week or so, and I love serving them with pan fried apples. I got this recipe from Allrecipes.com and changed it up a little to fit what we like.

Homemade Pancakes

Ingredients

1 ½ cup flour

3 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon white sugar

1 ¼ cup almond milk

2 eggs

3 Tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Add the milk, egg, and oil, and mix until smooth.
  3. Pour 1/3 cup of batter onto a lightly oiled griddle and heat over medium high heat.
  4. Brown the pancakes on both sides and serve hot.
